  Possibly emigrated to Victoria, Australia after death of first wife and married Sarah Campbell at Mt Burr in 1870. Some online trees claim he was the brother of Alexander McLeod who emigrated to Port Adelaide in 1855 and was the son of Alexander McLeod and Mary Campbell.
